This multi-part exhibition explores the intricate relationship between autonomy, personal decisions, and institutional power, questioning the myth of individual independence. how autonomy is deeply tied to legal constraints, political power relations, and societal interpretations, offering a critical look at how the body and its cycles become arenas for control and resistance. This exhibition offers a nuanced perspective on autonomy, showing how personal and collective struggles for freedom are deeply interconnected. It uses historical, cultural, and ecological lenses to challenge visitors to think critically about the body, care, and the cycles of life and resistance. It provides a platform for reflection, dialogue, and the reclamation of knowledge, empowering individuals to rethink autonomy and dependency in a collective context. What does it mean to be „independent“ in a world of interdependence?
